DRS is seeking a highly engaged organizational change management (OCM) analyst to join the project team for a transformational technology implementation project. Duties

The position:

We are seeking an Organizational Change Management (OCM) Analyst who will contribute to achieving expected project outcomes by analyzing change impacts and organizational readiness, making recommendations, performing proactive intervention, and facilitating cross-functional resource teams responsible for analyzing and synthesizing complex change impacts for users and administrators. The CORE: Pension Administration Modernization (PAM) project is a multi-year, multi-million-dollar complex technology project that will require collaboration with both DRS team members and vendors. The OCM program is critical to achieving expected project outcomes while minimizing operational disruption and ensuring our members receive the benefits they earn while in public service.

Reporting to the OCM Manager, you will provide expert advice and consultation regarding effective change management activities for agency-wide projects and initiatives. The OCM Analyst executes a wide variety of activities to support the progression of OCM throughout the project, including research, analysis, planning, group facilitation and execution of OCM tasks and activities. This position performs complex analysis of customer, team member and technical change impacts on processes and procedures, policies, and practices; monitors change readiness; and collaborates with the OCM team, project manager and other project team members. The OCM Analyst makes recommendations as needed to Leadership, the OCM Manager, Training Lead and Communication Lead based on this analysis.

Qualifications

Qualifications For This Position Include:
  • A Bachelor\'s Degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Public Administration, or allied field and at least three (3) years of progressively responsible experience conducting research, analyzing data or process improvement in a professional setting (additional qualifying experience may substitute, year for year for education);
  • At least three (3) years of experience assessing, analyzing, planning, developing, implementing, and maintaining effective organizational change management strategies;
  • Demonstrated proficiency in developing visual representations of data;
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint (version 2013 or newer); and
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Experience with retirement systems, rules, policies and procedures;
  • Familiarity with governmental fiscal note and budget cycles;
  • Active participation in technical system implementations on a project team;
  • Certified Prosci\xc2\xae Change Practitioner;

Breaks down OCM work into process steps; contributes these into the Project Schedules and assignments, and anticipates and adjusts for barriers and roadblocks. Effectively organizes work and coordinates activities, services, and schedules to ensure smooth and efficient operation of work. Is an effective communications link and reliable source of information for others. Keeps appropriate audiences informed of the status of OCM related actions, activities and accountability.

Effectively organizes, coordinates and leads small groups and/or OCM aspects of project work to accomplish specific goals. Manages change by providing the needed structure and environment for interactions to be effective. Is an effective communications link and reliable source of information for others.

Uses challenges as opportunities to improve; turns mistakes into learning opportunities. Model change agility as a proactive learner, seeks opportunities to stretch skills and gain additional exposure and experience, modeling a Growth Mindset, and generally leading change.
