full-time (35-40 hours/week) and part-time (15-20 hours/week) opportunities available We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for fun, ambitious people to join us in our cafe! Production Assistant team members are the face of our brand and should aim to make each customer interaction special. You will join our team:

• In the caf\xc3\xa9, working one-on-one with customers, taking orders and serving our organic, baked-on-premise pastries and croissants, sandwiches, soups, coffees and juices along with a small retail area featuring local organically produced products.
• In our production area, helping create the delicious foods we serve, participating in basic kitchen prep of our baked goods, sandwiches, soups

The ideal candidate will be a team player who\xe2\x80\x99s not above any task, hard-working and able to handle a very fast-paced work environment. We like to have fun, but we take our work very seriously -- you should too! Minimum requirements -- please make sure you meet these before applying:

• Available between 7 AM \xe2\x80\x93 5 PM with reliable transportation (actual hours may vary)
• Weekend availability
• Excellent communication skills, able to engage with supervisory and peer staff
• Friendly disposition and a desire to engage with and entice our customers to savor and enjoy our inventory
• Works with a sense of urgency \xe2\x80\x93 we are a very high-volume shop!
• High stamina and endless hustle
• Stellar problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly and remain calm under pressure
• No culinary degree required, but prior kitchen experience is an absolute must -- internships, class time, and paid work all count!
• Fit enough to lift 50-lb bags of flour and stand on your feet for hours at a time
• Familiarity with our brand and products
• Above all, we value reliability. You must always be on time and ready to work at your best.

Preferred qualifications -- these are nice-to-haves:

• Background/experience in front of house at a food service establishment

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Caring for and cleaning of our entire workplace
• Packaging pastries & deli items
• Making and serving drinks
• Taking customers\xe2\x80\x99 orders
• Maintaining, stocking & cleaning display area for food
