About the Role
You'll own the resolution of order exceptions from start to finish--supplier delays, shipping issues, damaged items, and inventory discrepancies. This position requires independent problem-solving, clear communication, and persistence in chasing down answers across multiple systems and vendors.
This is not a call center position. You're solving operational problems, not reading scripts.
Responsibilities
Investigate and resolve order exceptions including shipment delays, missing items, damaged goods, and tracking discrepancies
Coordinate with suppliers, warehouses, and carriers to expedite resolutions
Maintain accurate documentation of issues and resolutions
Identify recurring problems and escalate patterns to management
Communicate directly with customers when necessary to provide updates and solutions
Requirements
2+ years in e-commerce operations, order management, or fulfillment
Ability to manage multiple open issues simultaneously without dropping threads
Strong written communication--clear, concise, factual
Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
Detail-oriented with strong organizational habits
