Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Order Packer to join our passionate team at Pork King Good. The Order Packer is responsible for efficiently and accurately packing orders for shipment. This position involves assembling, packaging, and preparing products for shipping to customers in a timely manner while ensuring the quality and accuracy of the items being shipped.

Key Responsibilities

Pick items from inventory shelves based on order sheets. Verify the accuracy of picked items against order sheets. Package items according to specified packaging guidelines, ensuring proper protection during transit. Label packages with appropriate shipping information, including recipient details and tracking numbers. Organize packaged orders for shipment, ensuring they are staged for pickup or delivery. Operate packaging equipment such as tape dispensers, heat sealers, and label printers. Maintain a clean and organized packing area, including disposing of packaging materials and keeping workstations tidy. Communicate any inventory discrepancies or packaging issues to supervisors. Assist in inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent. 1+ Years of previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment center preferred Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 30 pounds. Basic math skills for counting and verifying quantities. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good organizational and time management skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team. Familiarity with packaging materials and techniques is a plus. Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
