Purpose of the Position:

Accurately pick orders and prepare for shipment.

Duties and Responsibilities

Safely operate Forklift to accurately prepare orders for shipment per customer specifications as assigned by shipping coordinator or management Perform visual inspection audit of parts to verify part matches part number as well as basic quality standards Double check all labeling and part numbers Rotate stock to insure first-in-first-out (FIFO) Safely load and unload trucks using forklift Complete all necessary paperwork Read and comprehend instructions and following established procedures Keep workstation clean and organized Cross train in other areas Other duties as assigned or required

Qualifications

Basic math skills Detailed oriented, organized, and motivated Ability to count and use scales Ability to understand spoken and written English Previous Forklift experience Ability to work overtime and needed Ability to follow written and verbal instructions High School Diploma or GED

Physical Requirements

Ability to sit or stand for 8 plus hours daily Ability to use both hand, wrists, and arms with continual motion Ability to push, pull, grasp, and reach objects Ability to lift 30 plus pounds repeatedly Ability to bend, stoop and walk frequently

Working Conditions

Temperature controlled facility

Personal Protective Equipment Required

Safety glasses at all times, safety gloves, non-slip work shoes, ear plus as necessary
