Monday - Friday (overtime as needed/required)

Starting rate $13.75 per hour

Our Order Fulfillment (Encore) Associate is responsible to assist the department in completing custom orders and preparing, packaging and labeling product according to customer specifications. This role involves trimming, cutting raw parts using a band saw, conducting quality inspections, packaging finished products, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Summary of Job Duties

Pick and cut raw part materials using a band saw. Accurately trim and smooth molded parts using hand and/or power tools. Complete quality checks on product before packaging. Apply tape, labels, materials to product per customer specification. Box or package finished products and label with required information, ensuring packaging is sufficient to prevent damage. Ability to be forklift certified. Data entry into computer system regarding product orders, quantities, shipping, etc. Will provide relief duties to other members of the department. Maintain cleanliness of work areas.

Work Environment

This position is performed on the production floor in a manufacturing setting, which may include exposure to:

Extreme heat. Moderate to loud noise levels (with proper PPE provided). Industrial equipment such as motors, grinders, compressors, CNC machines, and other production machinery.

Physical Demands

Standing and walking for long periods of time. Frequent pushing, pulling, grasping, bending, overhead reaching, and repetitive motions. Occasional climbing, stooping, and crouching. Lifting and carrying materials weighing up to 50 lbs. Ability to use small hand tools and power tools Required use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Requirements

Ability to work in production setting that does experience heat and moderate to loud noise levels. Ability to trim parts/products as directed by work instructions using hand tools and/or power tools. Ability to follow work instructions following quality specifications. Perform quality checks to meet company standards and identify non-conforming parts/products. Forklift experience, preferred, or ability to be forklift certified. Knowledge of shipping processes, preferred. Proficient computer skills Ability to multi-task and prioritize. Willingness to be cross-trained in other departmental duties.
