ORDER ENTRY CLERK

The Order Entry Clerk shall be responsible for, but not limited to, the following: - The primary responsibility of the Order Entry Clerk is communicating and entering orders received by phone, email, and fax from branches, customers, and/or in-person, and making changes to orders.

Responsibilities:Will be a self-starter and be able to work without direct supervision. Proficient with and enjoy detailed work, as well as have a good telephone voice and a pleasant disposition. Be able to work well with others to coordinate activities with other departments and supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience:Basic computer skills with experience using Microsoft Word and Excel. Proficiency with a ten-key calculator. Previous experience with data entry. The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. The ability to work well with numbers. Minimum age: 18 Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical.

The following qualifications are preferred, but not required:Proficiency in typing. Previous experience in the Customer Service field. Previous experience working with AS400. Manipulating Excel spreadsheets.

Physical Demand/Working Conditions:Required to lift and move large amounts of paperwork (boxes of files). Required to stoop, bend, and reach above the head and below the knees to file and retrieve data. Some overtime may be required.
