Operating Room RN Job Details

• Location: Dakota Dunes, SD 57049 (South Dakota nursing jobs)
• Healthcare Setting: Surgical Hospital ? Urology Operating Room
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 11/17/2025 ? End: 2/17/2026)
• Shift: 8 Hour Days (schedule may vary)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Float Requirement: As needed within clinical skillset
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,330 - $2,500 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license ? South Dakota or compact state
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience
• Strong perioperative nursing and clinical support skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

OR RN Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to surgical patients in the Urology OR
• Prepare the operating room and surgical equipment for procedures
• Assist surgeons and the surgical team during operations
• Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes
• Float to other clinical units as required based on skillset
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital policies and procedures
