Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and be committed to providing high-quality patient care across various settings. Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in various settings, including acute care, long-term care, and outpatient facilities. Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history, and physical examinations. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and best practices. Perform specialized procedures such as IV insertion, suturing, catheterization, and airway management. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients and their families on health management, treatment plans, and preventive care. Participate in case management activities, discharge planning, and follow-up care coordination. Uphold infection control standards and ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications

Valid nursing license in the state of practice. Experience in critical care, emergency medicine, or acute care settings is preferred. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner is advantageous. Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), and CPT coding is beneficial. Experience working with diverse populations, including geriatrics, pediatrics, and individuals with developmental disabilities. Proficient in performing essential nursing skills such as phlebotomy, medication administration, tube feeding, and specimen collection/processing. Strong understanding of patient assessment techniques and physiology knowledge. Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations while maintaining compassion for patients. Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
