Full Time Position: TUESDAY - SATURDAY

Eye Clinic in Redmond is looking for an Optometric technician. The right candidate would have excellent customer service skills, be motivated and professional, and have strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities would include, but are not limited to:
-Technician duties: preparing patients for eye exams, updating patient medical histories, conducting simple vision tests, using automated instruments to take measurements for the doctor. Comfortable with documenting in an EHR System. Ordering contact lenses for patients and stock, putting away trials, creating invoices etc.

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED - COMPREHENSIVE ON THE JOB TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED

Qualifications
- Core skills in ophthalmology/optometry, medical office experience, and anatomy knowledge
- Premium skills in patient care, HIPAA compliance, and optical experience
- Relevant skills in EMR systems, medical coding, and retail sales
- Ability to provide excellent customer service in a medical setting
- Familiarity with medical terminology and medical billing practices

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
