Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Optometric Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for eye care and assisting in providing exceptional patient service.

Your role will be to to work closely with our doctors and staff preparing our patients for the examination by assisting with these key responsibilities:

Greet and prepare patients for their eye exams.

Obtain and record patient medical history, chief complaints, and medication lists.

Perform preliminary testing such as autorefraction, visual fields, and retinal imaging (Optomap, OCT).

Educate patients on contact lens insertion and removal techniques.

Maintain and clean equipment and examination rooms.

Enter and update data in the electronic health record (EHR) system accurately.

Assist with the optical and front desk as needed.

Ensure patient flow is efficient and timely.

Various administrative duties.

Provide excellent customer service and uphold patient confidentiality.

*Pay commensurate with experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
