While experience is not absolutely required, it most definitely is a plus with big bonus points for ophthalmology or optometry experience. A passion for eyecare and an ability to work independently as well as with a group is essential. We know we can teach a motivated individual the necessary skills, but we can't teach a fantastic personality.

The main job responsibilities will include pre-testing (includes retinal imaging, autorefraction, Icare tonometry, visual fields, acuities and patient history). Our technicians welcome patients into the practice, perform contact lens trainings, order contact lenses, keep track of exam room supplies, answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and assist in reception.

The schedule for this position will be Tuesday through Saturday (a shortened day) totalling 40 hours a week.
