Our busy optometry practice is looking for an

exceptional Optician

who combines strong sales skills with a warm, bubbly personality and a commitment to top-notch patient care.

What You'll Do:

Help patients find frames that look great and feel great -- you're their style consultant, educator, and guide Explain lens options clearly and confidently to help patients make informed decisions Take precise optical measurements to ensure a perfect fit Handle adjustments and minor repairs like a pro Place and track orders, keep patient records updated, and follow up when needed Collaborate with our doctors and team to ensure smooth patient experiences from start to finish Keep the optical area spotless and welcoming Stay until patient care is finished -- we're a team, and we finish together

Who You Are:

People light up when they talk to you -- you're upbeat, approachable, and genuinely helpful You've got a strong eye for detail and know how to juggle tasks without dropping the ball You enjoy selling and love matching people with the products that suit them best You don't shy away from hard work or tough conversations -- you speak up when needed You actively meet and exceed monthly optical sales goals. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) like capture rate and average dollar sale to ensure the optical performs at its peak. You're dependable, drama-free, and always looking for ways to support your team Experience using practice management software or holding an ABO Certification is a definite advantage, but not required if you're quick to learn and eager to grow

We Offer:

Competitive pay: $16-$19/hr (based on experience)

Full-time, approx. 7:45 AM to 5:00 PM Monday-Friday with a consistent 1/2 day off (no weekends!) Note: End time can vary slightly as we stay until patient care is finished.
