Bright Eyes is searching for an enthusiastic, skilled Optician or Optical Sales Associate with experience and a passion for helping people to join our growing team!

Optical experience and/or a strong sales background is required.
ABO certification and Optician licensure are highly preferred but not required.

About Us

Bright Eyes is an independent eyecare practice and eyewear studio

in beautiful downtown Milford, CT. We provide medical eyecare, vision exams and contact lenses as well as selling beautiful, high-quality and affordable glasses and sunglasses.

Here's what you'll do:

Help customers choose the best frames and lenses

based on their prescription needs, face fit, personal style, and lifestyle.

Use your expertise

to confidently explain prescription terminology and products to customers.

Fit and adjust glasses,

ensuring flawless accuracy and exceptional comfort.

Verify eyewear

to make sure it is made to our optical standards.

Choose frames for our inventory

-we stock many fun collections that are a joy to pick out and show to customers.

Keep the optical running smoothly and efficiently

as you place and track orders, verify and bill insurance, and communicate with our labs and with our patients to ensure excellent service.

Collaborate with our awesome team

to form best practices for sales, efficiency and customer service.

Experience

Optical experience required.

ABO Certification or Licensed Optician strongly preferred.

Full licensure preferred but not required as you will be working under an optometrist.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay negotiable based on experience and certification/licensure.
