Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Optician to join our team. As an Optician, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional eye care services to our clients. This position requires a strong knowledge of optics, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Assist clients in selecting and fitting eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other vision aids
- Take accurate measurements of clients' eyes and facial features to ensure proper fit
- Interpret prescriptions written by optometrists or ophthalmologists
- Educate clients on proper eyewear care and maintenance
- Adjust frames and lenses to ensure optimal comfort and vision correction
- Process orders for eyewear and contact lenses
- Maintain accurate records of client information and transactions
- Collaborate with optometrists and ophthalmologists to provide comprehensive eye care services

Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Optician is preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge of optics, anatomy, physiology, and aseptic technique
- Familiarity with optical systems and laboratory procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients of all ages
- Proficient in retail math for pricing and billing purposes
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in retail sales or retail management is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
