Hastings Vision Clinic, a growing, private optometry practice, is seeking a Doctor's Assistant/Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for performing measurements and tests that provide our physicians with the information needed to arrive at a diagnosis and to prescribe treatment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Welcome and acknowledge all patients and guests according to company standards, anticipate and address service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank others with genuine appreciation.

Obtain complete patient histories including chief complaint, past ocular/medical history, family medical/ocular history and history of allergies and medications.

Perform and document subjective and objective ophthalmic testing efficiently to provide basic information necessary for ophthalmic examinations.

Educate patients regarding diagnostic testing and their clinic visit

Open and close exam rooms, ensure all equipment is clean and ready for the doctors; stock all necessary supplies

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.99 - $25.28 per hour
