Position Specific Duties

Assignment may involve lens design & analysis, illumination design, colorimetry, photometric testing, image quality assessment relating to entertainment or architectural LED lighting fixtures. May involve QA/Manufacturing support of existing fixtures, or new lighting fixtures currently in development.


Make design modifications or improvements to research and development projects. Become familiar with tools and SW applications (Zemax, SolidWorks) utilized by R&D department. Develop test and verification procedures. Deliver a report on the results of an assigned project.

Minimum qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred Working towards Bachelor's Degree in Optical Engineering or related field Junior or Senior year or have taken relevant courses in Optical Engineering 1-2 years post high school education in area of specialization GPA: 3.0 or higher
