Are you passionate about helping others? Join our team at Johnson Curran Optometry Centers! We are seeking enthusiastic, customer-focused individuals to fill Optical Sales and Front Office Associate roles in the New River Valley.

Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) :

Greet and check in patients, ensuring a positive first impression. Maintain accurate patient records. Handle incoming calls, answer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service. Manage insurance verifications and pre-authorizations. Assist customers in selecting frames and lenses to suit their needs, lifestyle, and style preferences. Provide knowledgeable recommendations on lens types, coatings, and treatments. Ensure accurate measurements for lenses and adjustments for frames. Dispense, adjust, and repair eyewear. Process sales transactions along with proper insurance billing information. Assist in care of contact lens patients. Actively participate in training events to stay up to date with technology. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.
Successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong ability to multi-task, acute attention for detail, great follow up, and a high level of integrity. Candidate must be a self-motivated team player wanting to make a difference. Our office is goal and performance oriented so a willingness to be held accountable for results is required. Eye care experience is not necessary as long as you have the ability and desire to learn.
