Ops Marketing Assistant
Job Description
SECTION: Communications & Marketing
HOURLY RATE: $15.00 per hour
HOURS: Flexible schedule, 20 hours per week Monday - Friday
LOCATION: TCC\'s Main Campus
MAJOR FUNCTIONS: This position works within the Office of Communications and Marketing. Job duties may include assisting with advertising, marketing, social media and graphic design projects, drafting copy/concepts for ads and other marketing materials, editing and copywriting, creating new ideas and concepts for how to connect with students, and general support for the office.
MINIMUM TRAINING/EXPERIENCE: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience and/or a degree in marketing, PR, advertising, or a similar field is preferred.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Preferred knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Ads
Strong writing skills and the ability to create compelling ad copy
Interest/knowledge of social media platforms and social media advertising
Editing/Copywriting skills for both copy and graphics
Project management skills and ability to work well under pressure
Ability to work both independently and on a team
