THE OPPORTUNITY

Ophthalmic Scribes play a key role in supporting our providers and patients. You'll accompany physicians during exams, document real-time patient interactions, and assist with testing and procedures.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Prepare patient charts/EMRs and exam rooms Accurately document physician-patient interactions Track orders, prescriptions, and testing Perform ophthalmic testing & work up (visual acuity, tonometry, dilation, OCT, VF, etc.) Educate patients on procedures, testing, and prescriptions Audit charts for accuracy Provide exceptional patient care and service

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Strong verbal and written communication skills Outgoing, dependable, and service-oriented Calm under pressure, adaptable to change Positive team player with a can-do attitude Knowledge of ocular pharmacology is a plus (not required) Ability to stand, walk, and occasionally lift up to 10 lbs.
