Position Summary

SeaCast is seeking dependable and detail?oriented individuals to join our Vacuum Melt team as

Melt Operator Support

employees. This role performs mold burnout operations, furnace operation, and metal pouring under the supervision of the Melt Supervisor.

We are hiring for:

One Morning Shift position

One Afternoon Shift position

Key Responsibilities

Read travelers and accurately record melt data Operate and control furnaces to melt metal prior to casting Weigh and charge metal into furnaces Regulate fuel, air, electricity, and water coolant systems Monitor molten metal and adjust controls to maintain required temperatures Apply fluxing agents and skim slag Remove ceramic molds from furnaces Occasionally lift 25-40 pounds Record melt data to ensure quality and compliance Participate in scheduling to support production flow Follow all company safety guidelines and use proper PPE Perform additional duties as assigned

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
