The Operator II is responsible for manufacturing quality product according to the work order or other build signal while adhering to defined work instructions. General duties may include picking, assembling, and packaging. Machine set-up and equipment operation may be required.

In this role, you will:

Prepare machines to start a production cycle? performing calibration? cleaning and other activities Monitor and properly adjust machine settings Check parts with precision? using appropriate measuring tools Conduct tests to check the operation of machines? on a regular basis Troubleshoot issues that might occur during the shift Verify output to detect any machine-related mistakes or flaws Create and manage records of approved and defective units or final products Create and maintain activity logs Adhere to health and safety regulations Possess manual dexterity and good coordination Possess basic reading, writing, and math skills Possess proven mechanical ability or aptitude Possess ability to resolve minor problems, recognize normal and unusual situations Ability to learn machine operations (including set up and changeover), and/or kitting. Some areas will require the ability to work with manual and/or power equipment. Must have good oral and written communication skills.

The essential requirements of the job include:

HS diploma/GED or equivalent preferred Six months production experience required Six months mechanical experience or equivalent required Some areas will require the ability to work with manual and/or power equipment. Must have good oral and written communication skills.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be subjected to moving mechanical parts, electrical currents, vibrations, fumes, odors, dusts, gases, chemicals, oils, extreme temperatures and workspace restrictions.


The noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud.


Employees will be required to wear the proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which may include: eye, hearing and respiratory protection, protective smock, steel toe shoes, gloves, hard hats, or face shields. Contacts are not allowed.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate's position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.


The compensation range for this role is $20.00 - $20.00 USD per hour.
