We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Operations Supervisor to lead and optimize our warehouse and distribution center activities. Duties

Supervise daily warehouse operations, including inventory management, shipping & receiving, and materials handling to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Lead and motivate a team of warehouse associates, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback to foster a high-performance culture. Oversee inventory control procedures using warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 platforms to maintain precise stock levels and reduce discrepancies. Coordinate logistics activities with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to optimize distribution efficiency and meet delivery deadlines. Implement process improvements to streamline workflows, enhance safety protocols in compliance with OSHA standards, and reduce operational costs. Manage forklift operations and mechanical equipment usage, ensuring proper training and adherence to safety regulations. Conduct regular audits of warehouse processes including shipping & receiving accuracy, materials handling procedures, and heavy lifting safety practices. Maintain comprehensive records of all inventory transactions, incident reports, shift logs, and compliance documentation. Support the integration of e-commerce fulfillment processes by adapting warehouse operations for online order demands. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve overall warehouse management strategies and implement new technologies or systems as needed.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or Operations Supervisor within a warehouse or distribution environment. Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehouse distribution processes, and logistics operations. Hands-on experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400 platforms, and materials handling equipment such as forklifts. Mechanical aptitude with understanding of warehouse machinery and equipment maintenance. Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively with excellent communication skills. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and best practices in warehouse safety protocols. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate forklift equipment proficiently; certification preferred. Experience working within e-commerce fulfillment environments is highly desirable. Knowledge of 3PL operations, shipping & receiving procedures, and inventory control techniques. Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
