The Operations Scheduler supports daily and weekly production scheduling at White River Marine Group to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing operations. Working closely with the Operations Planner, Production Supervisors, and Supply Chain teams, this position maintains accurate schedules in KBM/AS400 systems, addresses past-due work orders, updates production rates, and coordinates overtime to meet delivery goals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Maintain and update daily and weekly production schedules in KBM/AS400 systems based on master plans and real-time production feedback.
Manage schedule changes to resolve past-due work, adjust for rate changes, and plan overtime to achieve on-time delivery.
Monitor schedule attainment and collaborate with production and materials teams to ensure alignment between planned and actual output.
Communicate schedule updates, priorities, and changes to plant leadership and production teams.
Generate and distribute daily reports on schedule performance, past-due recovery, and capacity utilization.
Support continuous improvement efforts that enhance scheduling accuracy, visibility, and efficiency.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Degree Required: Associate Degree
Preferred Degree: Choose an item. in Associate Degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
Years of experience: Minimum 2+ years in manufacturing scheduling or production coordination. Marine, automotive, or complex assembly manufacturing preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
Solid understanding of production scheduling principles and manufacturing operations.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP/MRP tools.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy under tight deadlines.
Strong communication and teamwork skills across hourly and salaried teams.
Adaptable, proactive problem-solver with strong organizational skills.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Regularly sits and does computer work.
Occasionally walks, stands and lifts up to 50 lbs.
INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT:
Performs tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation. Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems. Occasional independent judgment is required to complete work assignments. Often makes recommendations to work procedures, policies, and practices.
