Job Overview

We are hiring a

Cannabis Operations Manager

to supervise

daily cannabis delivery operations

, manage drivers, coordinate dispatching, and maintain strong relationships with dispensary partners across the state. This is a

startup leadership role

for someone who wants to build a career in cannabis operations, logistics, compliance, and delivery management.

This role is

sweat-equity only

and includes

2% ownership

in TerpTaxi LLC. Salary may be added later based on performance and company growth.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day cannabis delivery operations Interview, hire, onboard, and manage delivery drivers Oversee driver performance, customer service, and compliance Handle dispatching, scheduling, and delivery coordination Meet with current and prospective dispensary clients across the state Take dispensary calls and attend meetings with TerpTaxi ownership Ensure all operations follow New Jersey cannabis delivery regulations Troubleshoot operational issues and improve workflow efficiency

Drive deliveries when no drivers or backup drivers are available

Remain on-call and readily available for operational needs

Required Qualifications

Must live in

New Jersey

(Northern NJ preferred) Clear criminal background Clean driving record Reliable vehicle with working A/C Must be listed on an active auto insurance policy Valid license, registration, and insurance Excellent communication and customer service skills Highly motivated, career-focused, and eager to grow with a startup Available

7 days a week

, mornings and nights Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, regulated cannabis environment

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)

5-10 years of business operations experience 5-10 years of management or supervisory experience 5-10 years of software or platform experience (CRM, dispatch tools, logistics systems) Experience in cannabis delivery, dispensary operations, courier services, or logistics

Compensation

2% equity ownership in TerpTaxi LLC

No hourly wage No starting salary Future salary may be added based on performance and company growth
