About the Role: Build the Business, Own the P&L



We are a rapidly growing commercial facility solutions company seeking a

Sales Operations Manager

to take the lead at our recently acquired location near Pittsburgh. This is a vital,

entrepreneurial leadership position

for a proven manager who can effectively combine

P&L oversight (50%)

with

Strategic Sales Support (50%)

.

The ideal candidate will manage the complete operational turnaround of the acquired business--from stabilizing finances and building the team, to driving sales coordination--with the ultimate goal of scaling the branch for regional dominance.

What You'll Do (The Operational Leader Role)



You will report to the Head of Sales but serve as the

de facto General Manager

responsible for the branch's viability and long-term success.

P&L and Financial Management:

Own the branch's

P&L statements, budgeting, and financial analysis

. Focus on margin assurance, optimizing material margins, and labor allocations for profitability.

Operational Excellence & Scale:

Transform the newly acquired business into a scalable, organized entity (initial business operates outside of a house). Implement standardized processes for dispatch, inventory, and job file auditing.

Service & Team Oversight:

Lead the hiring, retention, training, and mentoring of the field service team and administrative personnel. Resolve customer conflicts and maintain safety standards through routine

Job Site Safety Audits

.

Strategic Sales Coordination:

Provide critical operational support to sales representatives. Review and approve all job scopes and proposals for

accuracy and profitability margins

before they are presented to the client.

Product Focus:

Oversee service, inspection, sales, and installation of

Commercial Overhead Doors, Loading Docks, and Industrial Entry Systems

.

What We're Looking For



P&L Ownership (Required):

Proven experience owning and auditing P&L statements, budgets, invoicing, and margin control for a service or operations center.

Industry Expertise (Required):

Management experience in a related industrial service field, such as

Commercial Overhead Doors, Hoists/Cranes, Dock Systems, or Industrial Equipment Service

.

Leadership Track Record:

Proven ability to manage technical staff, resolve conflicts, and drive operational leadership (Branch Manager, GM, or Regional Operations Manager background highly preferred).

Mindset:

A process-driven, detail-oriented professional who excels at building high levels of trust and integrity within a team.

Compensation & Logistics



Location:

In-person role based in

McDonald, PA

(Near Pittsburgh).

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts (No weekends).
