Small Engine Specialists, Inc., a leader in outdoor power equipment sales and service, is seeking an Operations Manager to drive our 2026 traction. As our EOS Integrator (Rocket Fuel style), you'll own daily execution--building efficient systems, leading a tight-knit team of 10-15, and hitting Rocks that fuel our next growth phase.
We're post-rebuild, with a reputation for elite service and steady momentum. You'll report to Owner Brady Fink, ensuring processes stick (50% service efficiency goal), accountability thrives ("Own It" Core Value), and customers rave (500 Google Reviews target). This is hands-on leadership in a seasonal, high-margin biz--fixing workflows and elevating the standard across service and retail.

Success Milestones:

90 Days In:

You've onboarded seamlessly--baselined key metrics (e.g., service workflows audited), led your first weekly huddle with 100% team buy-in, hit an early Rock (e.g., scorecard launch), and fostered "Team Over Everything" through Core Values coaching. Early wins build trust and quick traction.

1 Year In:

You're the glue holding our EOS rhythm-- all 6 Rocks delivered (e.g., 50% efficiency live, 500 reviews earned, operations foundation rock-solid), team accountability at peak (NPS >8), and we've locked in consistent growth with processes that run without owner oversight. You're scaling us ethically, per Traction, and loving the impact.

Key Responsibilities (Our 2026 Rocks - Bonus-Eligible):



Strengthen team accountability: 100% huddle rhythm + Core Values coaching (Q1-Q4). Boost service efficiency: 50% jobs/tech utilization, <7-day turnaround (Q2-Q3). Elevate customer experience: 90% satisfaction, zero surprises via follow-ups (Q1-Q4). Hit 500 Google Reviews: +125/quarter through seamless prompts (Q1-Q4). Solidify operations foundation: Live scorecard + documented processes (Q1-Q2). Lock revenue baseline: Monthly sales momentum + gross margin targets (Q3-Q4).

Requirements:



3+ years ops management in service/retail/dealerships (equipment a plus). EOS familiarity or process/systems passion (Tractionmindset). Proven in seasonal ops: Handling peaks (e.g., April surges) and dips. GWC fit: Gets accountability, Wants Rocks, Capacity for 40-50 hr weeks. Tech-savvy: QuickBooks/Gusto/CRM experience. Clean driver's license; local to Lincoln preferred.

Compensation & Benefits:



Base: $60,000/year. Performance Bonuses: $1,000 per quarterly Rock hit (up to $6,000/year, vested on delivery). Plus: Health/dental/vision/401k (Gusto-managed). Total Potential: $66,000+ Year 1.
