We are looking for a dedicated Operations Manager / Lead Driver to join our team in Fort Wayne, IN -- someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and leads by example.

Position Overview

: This dual-role position blends operational leadership with active driving responsibilities. You'll be at the heart of daily operations -- managing drivers, optimizing routes, and ensuring our safety standards are met -- while stepping in behind the wheel when needed.

Responsibilities Include

:

Driver scheduling and route optimization Creating and executing daily safety plans, yard checks, and driver observations o Managing daily contingency plans to ensure smooth operations Scheduling truck maintenance and ensuring fleet readiness Leading and communicating effectively with the driver team Stepping in as a backup CDL driver when required Requirements: Valid Class A CDL with Doubles/Triples Endorsement Prior experience in transportation, dispatch, or logistics operations Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills Working knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
