Job Summary

The Operations Manager job description includes, but is not limited to, overseeing daily operations for carpet cleaning, water, fire, and mold restoration projects. Ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards, performing quality control, and managing client communication and satisfaction. This role requires a hands-on leader with experience in restoration projects.

Duties:

Operational Oversight:

Manage the day-to-day activities of water restoration and carpet cleaning departments, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to the safety and quality standards of VODA.

Team Leadership:

Schedule, train, and mentor technicians on proper techniques, safety protocols, and customer service.

Quality Control:

Conduct inspections to ensure work meets company and industry standards.

Client Management:

Serve as a point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication, addressing concerns, and maintaining customer satisfaction.

Marketing and Client Inquiries:

Locate and market new markets within the territory for future jobs and cleaning subscriptions, which may include going to houses, hanging door hangers, and meeting with apartment complex management.

Inventory & Equipment:

Maintain and track inventory of supplies and equipment, ensuring everything is in good working order and cleaned and fueled up each night.

Document & Reporting:

Oversee accurate and timely reporting of all project-related documentation, including work orders and client records.

Compliance:

Ensure the team follows all OSHA regulations and company safety policies.

Strategic Goals:

Work with company owners to set and achieve operational goals and implement new procedures to improve efficiency.

Training & Certificates:

Training week will begin on January 5th, 2026, in Maddison WI, WI. All expenses and training costs will be covered by VODA Gobles Team. This class is mandatory to take this job.

Requirements

Able to work weekday and some weekends when required. Compensation will be applied for weekend work. Able to keep a schedule of jobs and communicate with clients if the time needs to change.
Job Type: Full-time

Base Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
