Join our dynamic team as an Operations Manager and Co-Owner of Gelly Ball Events, where you'll lead the planning, execution, and growth of exciting outdoor recreational events centered around Gelly Ball--a fun, safe, and engaging activity similar to paintball but with soft gel balls. This role offers a unique opportunity to blend entrepreneurial spirit with hands-on event management, ensuring memorable experiences for clients while driving business success. As a key leader, you'll oversee daily operations, cultivate client relationships, and expand our event offerings through innovative marketing and strategic partnerships. Responsibilities



Manage all aspects of event planning and execution, including site setup, safety protocols, equipment management, and customer experience Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote Gelly Ball events through social media, local advertising, and community outreach Negotiate contracts with clients, vendors, and partners to secure favorable terms and ensure seamless event delivery Upsell additional services such as catering, party packages, or themed add-ons to maximize revenue opportunities Coordinate with catering providers, rental companies, and venue staff to ensure smooth logistics and exceptional guest services Oversee budgeting processes, track expenses, and optimize resource allocation for profitability and growth Lead a team of staff or contractors during events, providing clear communication, training, and support to deliver outstanding customer service Cultivate strong relationships with clients through attentive communication and personalized service to encourage repeat bookings and referrals Monitor industry trends in event marketing and hospitality to continuously innovate our offerings and enhance guest experiences Ensure compliance with safety standards, licensing requirements, and health regulations at all times

Experience



Proven experience in event management or hospitality roles such as banquet service, restaurant operations, hotel management or similar environments Strong background in negotiation, contracts management, and vendor relations within the events or hospitality sectors Demonstrated success in marketing campaigns focused on event promotion or community engagement Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines Exceptional communication skills for effective team leadership and client interactions Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial oversight for small to medium-sized events or businesses Experience in upselling services or products to enhance revenue streams during events or bookings Knowledge of food service operations including catering coordination is a plus

Uncapped earning potential with a stake in the company after 1 year. Parties take about 30 min to set up and 30 min to take down with an hour of hame play. You will make about 150-190 per event. We can run as many events as we can book usually higher on the weekends. Eventually the goal would be to have a 50/50 partnership and higher out employees to tun games while partners focus on landing jobs. Could eventually buy a brick and mortar arena for the business, but right now everything is mobile.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $95.00 - $100.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 - 40 per week
