Position Overview:


The Operations Manager oversees daily business operations, ensuring projects are executed efficiently, on schedule, and within budget. This role provides leadership across project management, field operations, procurement, and resource planning--driving operational excellence and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate has strong experience in construction and low-voltage systems (security, telecommunications), excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of operational processes.

Key Responsibilities:



Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the company's construction, and Tel/Sec division. Support and lead Project Managers, Superintendents, Assistant Project Managers and Field Technicians to ensure projects meet performance, quality, and profitability goals. Coordinate project scheduling, manpower allocation, and resource planning. Develop and implement operational processes, project tracking systems, and performance metrics. Work closely with the Estimating and Engineering teams to ensure seamless project handoffs and accurate scope execution. Oversee procurement, vendor relationships, and subcontractor management. Review project budgets, forecasts, and cost reports to ensure financial targets are met. Identify areas for operational improvement and lead initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce risk. Ensure compliance with company safety, quality control, and reporting standards. Serve as a key liaison between executive management, clients, and field teams.

Experience:



Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum 7-10 years of progressive experience in Operations or project management within construction, systems integration, and low-voltage industries. Strong understanding of design-build processes, project scheduling, and field operations. Experience with security, telecommunications, and structured cabling projects. Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency in project management and accounting software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, or similar). Ability to multitask, prioritize, and lead teams in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
