Who We Are

Assett Commercial Services is a family-owned, fast-growing, client-focused commercial janitorial company serving businesses throughout Anchorage. We are seeking a dependable and motivated Operations Manager to lead daily operations, support our cleaning teams, and ensure consistent, high-quality service across all client locations.

Position Overview

The Operations Manager works directly with the Owner and oversees approximately 25 part-time cleaners across multiple job sites. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in evening operations, stays calm under pressure, and takes pride in keeping teams organized, supported, and accountable.

Key Responsibilities

Create and manage employee schedules and ensure adequate coverage Track employee call-outs and fill in when necessary to maintain service standards Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and train new team members Conduct regular quality control inspections at client locations Communicate with clients and resolve service issues professionally Address feedback and operational concerns promptly Assist with supply coordination and inventory needs Manage call-outs and operational emergencies calmly and efficiently Maintain keys and access control for client locations Perform or coordinate basic equipment maintenance as needed

Experience and Requirements

Prior management experience preferred No specific industry background required (janitorial experience is a plus) Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to walk job sites and perform light lifting Comfortable using technology such as Monday.com, cleaning apps, and time-tracking software Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills

Schedule and Availability

Full-time position Typical hours: Evenings, approximately 3-4 PM to 10-11 PM Must be flexible and available to respond to call-outs and emergencies as needed

Compensation and Benefits
