Role Overview
The Operations & Human Resources Manager ensures the practice operates smoothly, ethically, and in compliance with healthcare and employment regulations. This role provides structure, consistency, and follow-through across operations and people systems, allowing clinicians to focus on client care and leadership to focus on strategic direction.
This position is well-suited for a seasoned professional who values clarity, accountability, and thoughtful execution, and who is comfortable operating with autonomy in a regulated healthcare environment.
Core ResponsibilitiesOperations Leadership
Own day-to-day operational workflows, including scheduling coordination, intake processes, clinician support, and internal systems
Maintain and improve documented procedures to support efficiency and consistency
Serve as the primary operational point of contact for staff and clinicians
Manage vendor relationships and practice infrastructure
Monitor operational performance indicators and share insights with leadership
Human Resources & People Operations
Manage hiring logistics, onboarding, and offboarding for clinicians and staff
Maintain accurate, confidential, and compliant personnel records
Implement HR policies and ensure consistent application across the practice
Support performance management processes through documentation and follow-up
Respond to staff HR inquiries with clarity, discretion, and professionalism
Credentialing clincians with insurance, requires meticulous follow up and tracking
Compliance & Risk Support
Support ongoing compliance with HIPAA, employment law, and licensing requirements
Assist with audits, credentialing, and documentation requests
Identify potential compliance gaps and collaborate on corrective actions
Professional Standards & Culture
Reinforce expectations related to professionalism, boundaries, and accountability
Communicate with empathy while maintaining clear and consistent standards
Contribute to a respectful, organized, and sustainable workplace culture
Required Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in operations, HR, or practice management
Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or similarly regulated environments
Working knowledge of HR administration and employment law fundamentals
Strong organizational skills and the ability to operate independently
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a therapy or medical practice
HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar)
Familiarity with EHR systems and healthcare workflows

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
