What You'll Do
As a an Operations Engineering Intern, you will gain manufacturing experience through working with Engineers, Operations, and Management while completing determined projects and applying education. You will be part of a dynamic team that ensures the compliance with Company HSE Performance Standards, as well as applicable acts and regulations. You will be responsible for working with the operations team on a daily basis to learn and understand how the plant operates. Other duties will include:
Demonstrate and/or lead the commitment to the pursuit of achieving Zero Harm through behavioral based safety
Live and foster the IPL Corporate Value, and Participate in BEx initiatives and activities
Work with the operations team on a daily basis to learn and understand how the plant operates
Spend time understanding the business while being mentored by assigned manager and Senior Engineer
Collaborate with Operations, Management, and Engineering staff to complete given tasks
Involvement with researching and design of projects
What We're Looking For:
Junior level standing pursuing Bachelor's degree in engineering - chemical engineering preferred
Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player

Duration: 10 - 12 weeks
Pay: $24.00 an hour
