Operations Coordinator

Come join the Phoenix team comprised of motivated, hardworking, and trustworthy individuals. Phoenix Welding is a Portland, Maine-based company with 40 years in the mechanical industry. Phoenix provides fabrication, repair, and mechanical installation of process piping, tanks, and distribution systems for the petroleum and chemical products industry, as well as high-purity piping systems and structural steelwork.

Main Functional Activities Include:



Managing day-to-day workflow and job coordination Tracking active projects and optimizing schedules Enhancing processes to improve productivity and communication Manage project submittal packages Track licencing and certification requierements Helping build weekly and long-term project schedules Coordinating the dispatch of drivers and field crews Collaborating closely with project managers, superintendents, and scheduling teams Strengthening customer relationships through responsive support This is a role with room to grow--your ideas matter here

Skills / Qualifications

Strong organization and time-management skills Effective communication (written & verbal) Tech comfort and strong computer skills Problem-solving ability in a fast-moving environment Confidence in math and analytical thinking A positive, adaptable attitude with leadership tendencies Motivation to learn, improve, and take initiative Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required

8 Hour Shift Day Shift Monday - Friday (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM) Based at Headquarters in Portland, ME Day Shift | Mon-Fri | 8:00 AM-4:00 PM
