Operations Coordinator

to support the daily operations of one of our New York City schools. In this role, you'll help ensure the school runs smoothly by managing logistics, supporting staff, and maintaining an efficient, well-functioning environment where both scholars and educators can thrive.

About the Role



Reporting directly to the

School Business Operations Manager (BOM)

, the Operations Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring all day-to-day operational needs are met. This position is ideal for someone detail-oriented, dependable, and eager to contribute to a mission-driven educational community.

Key Responsibilities



Office Support



Greet and check in visitors following security protocols, ensuring all guests are properly signed in. Coordinate supply deliveries to classrooms and maintain essential office materials. Support with digital filing, documentation, and organization of key records.

Attendance & Student Support



Assist with attendance tracking and reporting under the direction of the BOM. Support arrival by monitoring attendance systems and helping resolve scanning or entry issues. Set up and maintain arrival and dismissal stations for smooth daily transitions.

Inventory & Technology Management



Monitor and restock classroom and workroom supplies daily. Deliver student snacks and maintain accurate inventory levels. Troubleshoot basic Chromebook or device issues and escalate when needed.

Facilities Support



Conduct regular walkthroughs to ensure cleanliness and safety throughout the building. Report and track facilities issues promptly to ensure quick resolution. Maintain orderly, hazard-free hallways, restrooms, and classrooms.

Arrival & Dismissal Support



Assist with student and family flow during arrival and dismissal. Record tardy arrivals and early dismissals, ensuring accurate documentation. Provide guidance to families and staff to keep transitions efficient and organized.

Qualifications



0-2 years of professional experience in an administrative, operations, or school support role (preferred). High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills. Tech-savvy with basic computer proficiency. Positive, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Compensation



$66,300 USD
