Home of the Innocents is seeking a Construction Manager to lead major capital and renovation projects across our 22-acre campus--building safe, healing, and empowering spaces for the children and families we serve.
Day in the Life
In this role, you will lead all major construction and renovation efforts across our campus. This role serves as the organization's Owner's Representative and ensures every project is delivered safely, on time, and within budget--creating spaces that support healing, dignity, and care for the children and families we serve.
Schedule:
Full-time, 40 hours per week, with flexibility as needed for special projects.
How This Position Contributes to Our Mission
Lead capital and renovation projects from planning through completion.
Oversee budgets, schedules, contracts, and vendor performance at a high level.
Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and building standards.
Provide strategic guidance on design, construction, and project phasing.
Maintain strong communication with leadership, internal teams, and contractors.
Protect mission, quality, and operational needs throughout each project.
Construction Manager Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience).
7+ years leading construction projects; healthcare or nonprofit experience preferred.
Strong understanding of codes, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Proven ability to manage multi-phase, occupied-facility projects.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Certifications such as PMP, CCM, LEED AP, CSP, or OSHA-30 preferred.
