Sauna Village Operations Assistant

JOB DESCRIPTION

Moki is bringing a new social wellness experience to Somerville this winter. We are providing warmth to the community through our outdoor sauna village featuring wood fired luxury saunas, a large cold plunge, and relaxation areas.

Our goal is to provide an outlet for social interaction during those long winter months while also promoting the numerous health benefits of thermaculture (sauna and cold plunge use).

We're currently seeking a few Village Guides to join our team this season!

Village Guides are the customer-facing team at Moki. They are responsible for ensuring operational success in the village, including stocked fires, cold plunge quality, general cleanliness and all guest amenities are working properly. As the first point of contact for our experience your primary responsibilities include welcoming and assisting customers through their experience at Moki. Additionally you will help with any guest booking issues through our system. This role is essential to the team and involves providing a high level of service to all Moki guests.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Be an expert of all things Moki guest operations and offerings. Guest check-in and check-out. Adhere to closing & opening procedures of the front desk team. Inclination to work at a fun and innovative wellness experience

DESIRED SKILLS

Education: High school or equivalent (preferred). Able to physically stand, bend, squat and lift up to 30 lbs. Be an organized thinker with the ability to prioritize tasks. Demonstrate the ability and initiative to handle increasing responsibility over time. Must be reliable and professional. Attendance policy is observed. Ability to work independently and as a team player. Solid written and verbal communication skills

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Job Type: Part-time. 8-hour shifts. Night and weekend availability required. Flexible shift times Seasonal Business: Operating December 2024- April 2025 Pay: $18- $22 per hour. Free unlimited admission to Moki with a plus one.
