Position: OPERATIONS Assistant



Accountable TO: OPERATIONS manager

Position Summary

: Under the direction of the Ministry, the Operations Assistant will support daily warehouse functions, including receiving and storing goods, preparing client orders, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace to effectively serve the ministry's needs.

Essential Task:

The Operations Assistant will perform various tasks but not limited to the list below.

Learning about each ministry at HHH and getting to know their leaders. Drive HHH trucks. Load and unload HHH trucks. Operate forklifts in the warehouse to move items as needed. Place donated items in proper locations in the warehouse. Help donors unload items at the Donation Door. Sort donations into the following categories: Core items. Antiques and collectibles to Heavenly Treasures area. Miscellaneous non-core items to Oaklawn thrift Store area. Box up nick-knacks for various other Thrift Stores. Sorts and hang clothing and shoes. Maintain the warehouse in a neat and orderly manner. Operate the clothing baler to produce bales of clothing. Operate the forklifts to load baled clothing and bags of shoes on designated trailers. Help with vehicle maintenance and necessary repairs. Mow and weed-eat the twelve acres of HHH property during the growing season. Sweep the sidewalks and remove debris, especially after the various distributions. Clear the snow and ice from sidewalks and parking lot during the winter.

Spiritual:



Has accepted Christ as his/her Savior and will accept the Central Christian Church 8-point statement of faith.

Education/Certification:



Preferred experience working as truck driver and/or a warehouse worker or similar role.

Experience Required:



Basic warehouse operations. Truck driving. Working with equipment.

Working Conditions:



Primarily in the HHH warehouse and surrounding HHH campus.

Driving HHH trucks to pick up donations or deliver various items.

Physical Requirements:



Ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, reach, grip, climb, push, pull, or carry for a duration of time.

Ability to lift 75 pounds. Ability to use fine motor skills including tactile while performing a task.

Ability to work in non-temperature-controlled environments.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
