We are seeking a motivated and adaptable professional to join a startup venture within Honda that is advancing sustainability through a new micromobility platform. As an Operations and Logistics Coordinator, you will manage domestic and international supplier shipments and oversee vehicle logistics from production through customer delivery, while helping build scalable processes that support Fastport's long-term growth in a fast-paced startup environment.

Operations and Logistics Coordinator Details:

• Contract to Hire position
• $42.00 to $45.00 /hour
• First Shift

Supplier & Production Shipments

• Manage domestic and international supplier shipments supporting production
• Partner with Trade Compliance to ensure accurate import/export documentation (HTS codes, invoices, certificates of origin, customs declarations)
• Validate shipment documentation to prevent delays and maintain audit-ready records
• Track duties, tariffs, and landed costs to support budgeting and cost-reduction efforts

Logistics Coordination

• Coordinate shipments of parts, supplies, and vehicles, both domestically and internationally
• Manage post-production vehicle movements (plant ? PDI ? customer) and provide tracking updates to Customer Support
• Arrange one-off or overflow shipments beyond internal transport capacity
• Recommend shipment options balancing cost, speed, and business needs

Process & Change Management

• Document logistics procedures and develop SOPs in Confluence/SharePoint
• Lead targeted process improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma methodology
• Adapt to shifting priorities and support change management

Operations and Logistics Coordinator Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (preferred)
• 5+ years of logistics, supply chain, or freight forwarding experience (required)
• Experience managing domestic and international shipments of materials, supplies, or vehicles
• Strong documentation and compliance experience (HTS codes, customs forms, certificates of origin)
• Vehicle or automotive logistics experience (preferred)
• Warehouse and inventory management experience
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification (required)
• Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, CRM tools, Confluence, and SharePoint
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
• Startup or lean environment experience (preferred), with demonstrated adaptability and problem-solving skills
