Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR)

Bridgeport, CT

Schedule:

5x8-hour Day shifts (40 hr/wk)

Contract:

13 weeks

Weekly Pay:

$2,431-$2,688/week ($60.78-$67.20/hr)

Role Overview:

The OR RN will provide high-quality perioperative nursing care in a Level 1 trauma setting. Responsibilities include preparing and assisting in general, orthopedic, neuro, and trauma surgeries, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating with the surgical team for optimal outcomes.

Requirements:

Active CT RN License Minimum 3 years of OR nursing experience Level 1 trauma experience required Proficient in General, Robotics (DaVinci & Mako Ortho), Urology, ENT, Neuro (cervical fusion & lumbar laminectomy), Plastics, and GYN Specialization in orthopedic cases (total knee and hip replacements) EPIC, Surgicount, and TECSYS experience preferred Must be available for on-call rotation (up to 6 weekday and 6 weekend calls per 6 weeks)
