About the Role









Red Hill Consulting (RHC) is seeking an experienced

OpenText Content Server (OTCS) Workflow Developer

to join our team as a consultant supporting one of our enterprise clients. The consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing OTCS workflows, building custom solutions using Global Cents tools, and supporting document management and process automation initiatives.





This position involves working closely with client stakeholders and internal RHC team members to deliver high-quality, reliable solutions tailored to the client's business needs. The role may be performed in a hybrid on-site/off-site capacity depending on client requirements.





Key Responsibilities









Workflow & Application Development



Architect, design, and build new workflows within OpenText Content Server. Analyze business requirements and recommend scalable technical approaches. Implement workarounds when native system capabilities are limited. Develop and enhance workflows using

Global Cents - GCI Power Tools

(Documents Builder, Workflow, Reports, Views). Build and maintain forms using

XSL style sheets, HTML5, and JavaScript

. Integrate business processes using

OTCS REST APIs

.



System Support & Optimization



Administer, troubleshoot, and improve existing OTCS workflows and configurations. Design and generate reports using WebReports and LiveReports. Develop SQL artifacts including tables, views, functions, and stored procedures. Provide ongoing support and optimization recommendations.



Stakeholder Collaboration & Training



Work directly with client staff, business analysts, SME's, and RHC team members to define and deliver solutions. Conduct end-user and admin-level training. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, technical guides, and support materials. Assist with general support requests as part of the RHC applications support function.






Qualifications & Skills





Education & Technical Requirements





Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

5+ years of demonstrated experience

with OpenText Content Server development, administration, and workflow management. Strong expertise with: OTCS workflow architecture

Global Cents - GCI Power Tools

JavaScript, HTML, XSL style sheets SQL development (tables, views, functions, stored procedures) Proficiency with

Microsoft Office 365

(Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat Pro. Experience must be specifically with OpenText Content Server (OTCS) at the very least; Exstream, Extended ECM, Documentum, or other OpenText products are a bonus rather than required.

Preferred Qualifications





Experience with

Azure DevOps

(source control, work tracking, pipelines). Experience with

OpenText LiquidOffice

. Background supporting large enterprise organizations, utilities, or public sector clients (preferred but not required).



Soft Skills





Highly self-directed and able to manage multiple priorities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
