Job Description

Location: Onsite (Project-Based); LaBarge, WY
Employment Type: Full-Time, Hourly with a 21 days on, 7 days off schedule
Reports To: Operations Manager / Division Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee and manage multiple industrial electrical projects in the LaBarge area of Wyoming. This role is responsible for coordinating field operations, managing schedules and budgets, supervising crews, and serving as the primary point of contact between clients, vendors, and internal teams. The ideal candidate is hands-on, highly organized, and experienced in managing electrical projects safely, efficiently, and profitably.
Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of electrical construction and maintenance projects, from planning and mobilization through closeout
  • Act as the primary onsite representative for the company and main point of contact for client
  • Assist customer with "as-built designs and drawings"
  • Coordinate daily field operations, including electricians, foremen, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Conduct estimate take-offs and coordinate with Estimating Manager to submit budgets.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, and forecasts
  • Ensure compliance with NEC, local codes, company standards, and project specifications
  • Monitor job progress, productivity, quality, and safety performance
  • Review drawings, specifications, change orders, and RFIs
  • Track material procurement, deliveries, and manpower needs
  • Conduct job site meetings, safety meetings, and progress updates
  • Identify risks, resolve issues, and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Prepare and submit project documentation, reports, and closeout packages
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience managing electrical construction projects
  • Strong background in industrial electrical, specifically petro-chemical work
  • Thorough knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety practices
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
  • Proficient with project management and scheduling tools
  • Valid driver's license and ability to work onsite full time
Preferred Qualifications
  • Journeyman or Master Electrician license; or equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge of industrial, instrumentation, or control systems projects
  • OSHA 30 certification
  • Background working in live facilities, plants, or mission-critical environments
