In this role, you will review digital content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, formatting, clarity, and consistency. The ideal candidate has an exceptional eye for detail, strong language skills, and the ability to follow editorial guidelines with precision.
Key Responsibilities
Review and proofread digital content for accuracy, clarity, grammar, spelling, and punctuation
Ensure all written materials meet company style guides and editorial standards
Identify and correct inconsistencies, formatting issues, and tone irregularities
Collaborate with writers, editors, and content creators to improve content quality
Provide feedback and suggestions for revisions when necessary
Manage multiple deadlines and complete assignments in a timely manner
Maintain confidentiality and handle all documents with professionalism
Verify the accuracy of facts, names, dates, and terminology when required
Format documents according to company or client specifications
Track revisions and maintain organized records of reviewed content
Required Skills
Excellent command of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation
Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors quickly
Exceptional reading comprehension and editorial judgement
Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
Excellent written communication skills
Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Google Docs, or similar editing tools
Comfort working with digital content and online document platforms
Ability to maintain quality and accuracy across multiple projects
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in proofreading, editing, writing, or publishing
Background in English, Communications, Journalism, or related field
Experience with SEO or content management systems (CMS) is a plus
Knowledge of industry-specific terminology depending on content type
