Summary

We're looking for a creative and motivated Online Content Development Specialist to help shape the voice of our news, lifestyle, and travel publications for the next generation of audiences. This role is hands-on: you'll be developing, editing, and publishing content across video, audio, and written formats.

The ideal candidate is digitally savvy, tuned in to social and cultural trends, and passionate about storytelling. You'll collaborate with our internal teams and partners to produce content that not only informs but also engages and inspires.

Responsibilities

Work with department leadership and audience development teams to build and maintain content calendars for news, lifestyle, and travel coverage. Develop and coordinate video, audio, and written content using both in-house and freelance/partner resources. Publish and optimize content across websites and social channels, with a heavy focus on YouTube, YouTube Shorts, Instagram, and Facebook. Track performance analytics, report on audience engagement, and make recommendations to grow reach and viewership. Ensure content partners and sponsors receive full value per contractual agreements. Stay ahead of content marketing and social media trends, experimenting with new formats and strategies to connect with younger audiences.

Qualifications

Strong writing and editing skills with a knack for storytelling that resonates online. Ability to juggle multiple time-sensitive projects without dropping deadlines. Confident communicator with solid organizational and tracking skills. Familiarity with video editing software (Adobe Premiere, After Effects preferred). Comfortable with CMS platforms and publishing workflows. Understanding of best practices in social media and digital content marketing. Adaptability--able to pivot quickly as digital media continues to evolve. Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.

Base Pay: $48,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
