Reporting to the Cancer Care Center Nursing Director, the Oncology Nurse Supervisor will take on a vast array of responsibilities. This person will assist the Director with day to day duties, in addition to overseeing the staff and the department operations. The Oncology Nurse Supervisor will be supported by experienced and highly-trained Cancer Center Registered Nurses.

The Oncology Department offers state-of-the-art equipment, aiding in medical and radiation oncology treatments, blood transfusions, and other specialized procedures. The Oncology Nurse Supervisor will supervise a department treating cancer patients, ensuring that impeccable communication and care is met for all patients. This person will play an important role in the department\xe2\x80\x99s steady flow.

The Oncology Nurse Supervisor will act as a leader within the department. Their duties will include implementing orders and protocols given by Physicians, handling staff scheduling, and coordinating staff training. The Oncology Nurse Supervisor will assist with the coordination of process improvement and strategic planning, as well as assist in onboarding and training new employees.
