On-Call Snow Removal

Job Purpose:

Help keep our community safe and accessible this winter! As a member of our On-Call Snow Removal Team, you'll play an essential role in clearing snow and ice from walkways, drives, and parking areas during weekend on-call shifts. This position is ideal for someone dependable, safety-minded, and comfortable working outdoors who enjoys being part of a supportive team that takes pride in serving our residents.

What You'll Do:

Participate in an every-other-weekend on-call rotation for snow removal (Saturday and Sunday, 4am-6pm). Operate snow removal equipment such as truck plows, skid steers, loaders, or snow blowers. Shovel and clear walkways and entrances as needed after equipment routes are complete. Communicate route completion and site conditions to the team. Follow all safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE). Support fellow team members to ensure all areas of campus are cleared within scheduled shifts.

What You'll Need:

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Experience operating snow removal equipment preferred. Ability to tolerate cold temperatures and walk long distances (up to 3 miles). Must bring and use appropriate PPE while on duty. Dependable, accountable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

When You'll Work:

Every other weekend on-call rotation. Coverage hours: 4am-6pm Saturday and Sunday.
