Conroy-Tully Walker Funeral Homes of Portland and South Portland and Black Funeral Homes of Sanford and Springvale is currently seeking compassionate and responsible people to assist with transferring decedent\'s from the place of death. The qualified candidates will possess a passion for helping others, compassion, excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, professional behavior and appearance, empathy, clean driving record and the ability to lift a reasonable amount of weight. Care Team responsibilities include:
- Responding to the location of death (i.e., hospitals, nursing homes, residences, hospice facilities)
- Interacting with family, first responders, medical professionals, etc.
- Respectfully transfer decedent into our care (training will be provided)
- Completing inventory of all personal belongings
- Following our strict decedent tracking policy
- Driving company vehicles
- adherence to an on-call rotation
- On call
- Overnight shift
- Weekend availability
