The Onboarding/Offboarding Coordinator will oversee the full onboarding and offboarding process for new employees and support ongoing HR functions, including insurance open enrollment and supervisor timecard compliance. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, people-focused, and confident in managing multiple responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and send new-hire documents, paperwork, and onboarding instructions
Coordinate background checks, I-9 verification, and compliance requirements
Schedule and conduct new-hire orientation and first-day activities
Serve as the main point of contact for new employees during their transition
Communicate with hiring managers, HR, and IT to ensure equipment, accounts, and workstations are set up
Maintain and update onboarding checklists and records
Oversee annual insurance open enrollment, including scheduling, communication, and tracking employee submissions throughout the year
Monitor and ensure supervisors are turning in employee time accurately and on schedule
Follow up with supervisors regarding missing or late time submissions
Provide general administrative and HR support as needed
Qualifications:
Experience in HR, onboarding/offboarding, or administrative support preferred
Strong communication and customer-service skills
High attention to detail with excellent organizational abilities
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Comfortable working with HR systems and digital tools
Professional, reliable, and able to maintain confidentiality
