Compensation and Benefits:



Compensation: Starting rate $20.00 - 20.80, adjusted based on experience. Benefits: Seasonal position eligible for a season pass for employee/dependents and privileges at several other resorts. Several discount programs (i.e. food & beverage, retail/rental, tickets, etc.) also available.

Job Summary




On Mountain Resort Maintenance Workers support the daily operations of the Ledgewood Yurt and Jerk Jamaican Grill by working alongside Food & Beverage and Maintenance staff to provide a safe, clean, and enjoyable on-mountain experience for our guests. This role includes a mix of snow removal, transportation, light maintenance, and operational support duties throughout the day.

Summary of Key Responsibilities




Responsibilities and essential functions include but are not limited to the following:

Conduct pre-trip operational checks of company vehicles, trucks, snowmobiles, and snow removal equipment Clear decks, walkways, loading areas, and other locations of snow, ice, and other unsafe conditions prior to opening of the Ledgewood Yurt and Jerk Jamaican Grill Perform snow removal as needed, including snow blowing, shoveling, and removing snow from roofs and eaves Maintain safe walking surfaces throughout the day by spreading ice melt or grit and remedying icy or slick areas Place and remove ski racks, chairs, benches, and fencing as part of opening and closing procedures Stock firewood and start fire in the Yurt woodstove each morning Assist with product delivery and transport of staff and supplies to the Yurt and Jerk via snowmobile and trailer Provide midday operational support, including trash removal, product delivery, and maintaining walkways Remedy simple maintenance issues (e.g., relighting pilots, plunging toilets, minor repairs) Provide support to on-mountain Public Area Attendants with light plumbing issues in restrooms Assist lodge maintenance staff, carpenters, electricians, and other trades as needed Operate trucks, snowmobiles, and other vehicles to deliver provisions and supplies to on-mountain venues Assist with moving garbage, recycling, and compost from the Yurt and Jerk at the end of each day Carry out light maintenance and repair tasks as directed (e.g., hanging items, carpentry, minor fixes) Assist with moving tables, chairs, ski racks, grills, and event supplies as needed Support Lift Operations staff with midday breaks Work safely, efficiently, and cooperatively as part of a team

Basic Qualifications



Valid driver's license Ability to work weekends and holidays (required) Ability to comfortably communicate with guests Ability to shovel snow and lift up to 75 lbs Ability to work outdoors in all winter weather conditions

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities



Ability to operate a snowmobile with passenger and trailer Ability to operate a snowblower Basic carpentry skills preferred General mechanical aptitude Ability to transport personnel and supplies via snowmobile Intermediate skier or snowboarder preferred
